"And so, I waltzed into the Pacific Design Center wearing my stylish black T-shirt designed by a bi Toronto shirt-maker that says "bi" on it, and was rather in-your-face about it. But, it sparked conversations with others, and it was easy to brag about being the first honoree in a new bisexual category that was only added last year."

The Bisexual's Guide to the Universe: Quips, Tips, and Lists for Those Who Go Both Ways is a tongue-in-cheek, irreverent book about bisexuality. Co-authored by Nicole Kristal and Mike Szymanski, the road signs on the cover pointing every-which-way is a humorous metaphor for the so-called "confused" bisexual who just doesn't know which way to go.

The Lambda Literary Foundation, the country's leading organization for LGBT literature has announced the finalists in each category for the annual "Lammy"Awards. on Thursday, May 31 2007, at the Lambda Literary Awards Ceremony in New York City. For the first time, there is a category for Bisexual Books. This category includes both fiction and non-fiction. Judges chose twelve nominees and finalists for the 19th annual Lambda Literary Awards which were announced on March 1, 2007.

Klein, MD |
The
late Fritz Klein, MD, author of Life, Sex, and the Pursuit of Happiness, was a psychiatrist who lived
in San Diego, California. He was a Clinical Instructor
at the University of California at San Diego and
co-leader of the Bisexual Forum in New York City,
which he founded in 1974. Dr. Klein also established
the Bisexual Forum in San Diego in 1982 and was
on their Board of Directors. He was the President
of the not-for-profit Bisexual Foundation. He was
editor of the Journal of Bisexuality, the author
of The Bisexual Option, co-editor of Bisexualities,
Theory, and Research and Bisexual and Gay Husbands:
Their Stories, Their Words (all from Haworth Press)
