Denise Penn, MSW |
Denise Penn is an advocacy journalist and editor who has been covering political and social issues for alternative and LGBT press since the early nineties. She is the Associate Producer and host of The Gay & Lesbian News Magazine, a weekly live cable television show in Long Beach, News Editor for The Lesbian News, and a frequent contributor to the Orange County and Long Beach BLADE, IN Los Angeles Magazine, and others. She also works behind the scenes as a Communications Consultant, and has presented workshops on Bisexuality at many conferences. She grew up in Orange County, earning degrees in English and Social Science from CSUF and UCI and completed an MSW at San Diego State University. |

Jonathan
Alexander, Ph.D. |
Jonathan Alexander, originally
from New Orleans, Louisiana, has been teaching writing
and sexuality studies for over 15 years. In addition
to his scholarly and pedagogical work, Jonathan
also composes poetry, writes science fiction, and
studies piano performance. As a scholar and
author, Jonathan is primarily interested in
studying the use of technology to teach writing,
but he has also been very active in sexuality studies,
particularly focusing on the politics of representing
lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.
He has guest edited special editions of The Journal
of Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Identity, The International
Journal of Sexuality and Gender Studies, and Computers
and Composition ("Technology, Sexuality, and
the Teaching of Writing"). |

Reginia Reinhardt, Ph.D. |
Regina Reinhardt, has
a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and was in private
practice for 12 years in San Diego. She was the
Coordinator of the Bisexual Forum, a support and
discussion group for bisexuals for nine years and
is currently on the Advisory Board for the Bisexual
Forum. She was on the steering committee for the
1993 and 1998 Bi-West Conferences in San Diego.
She has given lectures on bisexual relationships
at many different forums and has appeared on local television. She
is the Assistant Editor of the Journal of Bisexuality and a member of the board of directors for the
American Institute of Bisexuality. She organized the first ever
Bisexual Art Exhibit in San Diego in 1998 and was the Bi-Art Coordinator
for the Bisexual Art Exhibit in 2003 at the North
American Conference of Bisexuality in San Diego,
CA. |

Skott
Freedman |
Skott Freedman is a critically acclaimed
singer-songwriter-pianist currently sweeping the
country with his unique blend of confessional pop-folk.
Freedman also guest writes as a music reviewer for
several indie publications. BILLBOARD Magazine
hails Freedman as a “star-in-waiting”
and his three octave range leads the listener on
an emotional rollercoaster ride. Freedman has appeared
on NBC News, The Discovery Channel, SIRIUS Satellite
Radio, and has performed as far as the Sydney Opera
House. |
