Burton Clark Bush's work as a filmmaker is a direct extension of drawing that he did as a child and teen. He went to school to study character animation, and learned how to use paper to animate his drawings into motion. He also experimented using live action and found footage literally unearthed from his grandparents closet. Learning about the history of non-narrative film has opened a new avenue for his creative outlet.
